Beverage Runner Job Description Prepares, presents, and serves food while delivering friendly and efficient customer service. This role supports daily kitchen and foodservice operations by performing food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare, present, and serve food in accordance with established recipes and standards. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients to ensure accurate recipe execution. Essential Skills Experience in food production and food preparation. Ability to perform food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen or foodservice role. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced foodservice environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a professional foodservice setting where you support kitchen and service operations throughout the day. Schedules are flexible within a broad time window starting as early as 6:00 a.m., with shift options tailored to individual availability. You will work around standard kitchen equipment such as stoves, refrigerators, pans, kettles, and trays while following all safety and sanitation procedures. The role involves standing for extended periods, moving between workstations, and handling food and cleaning tasks in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.55 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
