The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient kitchen workflows and high standards of food safety. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate passionate about culinary arts and hospitality. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills. Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and following recipes under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet food safety standards. Handle food safely during preparation, storage, and serving to prevent contamination. Assist with food plating and presentation for serving or catering events. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation. Requirements Previous experience in cooking, meal preparation, or food service is preferred; restaurant or catering experience is a plus. Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic culinary techniques. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully. Prior experience in the food industry or culinary field is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
