Meal Prep & Service:
Prepare and serve delicious meals in compliance with USDA and health department guidelines. •
Food Safety & Cleanliness:
Maintain top-tier cleanliness in the kitchen, dishwashing area, and dining hall. •
Daily Operations:
Follow kitchen Standard Operating Procedures, utilize equipment safely, and manage the serving line efficiently. •
Inventory Control:
Manage inventory to ensure correct delivery, rotation, and storage of food items. •
Quality Improvement:
Participate in the organization's quality improvement (PQI) processes to help improve service delivery. Position Requirements (West Virginia State Mandates) • Age 23+
Required:
Per state residential childcare licensing laws, you must be at least 23 years old (no exceptions). •
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. •
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant food service or kitchen experience. •
Background Check:
Ability to pass fingerprinting and clearance through WV CARES and APS/CPS. •
Drug Screening:
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
