You will be responsible for various food preparation tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitized. Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers. Support cooks and chefs in various kitchen tasks as needed, including cooking, plating, and serving food. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak service times. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices. Skills Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
