Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Monitor and be a vital part of creating a safe, enjoyable aquatic environment for all guests. In this energetic role, you will oversee pool safety, perform routine maintenance, and deliver exceptional guest services. Your proactive approach will ensure that everyone has a fun, secure experience while maintaining the highest standards of pool area cleanliness and safety protocols. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for swimming and safety with excellent customer service. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules. Respond promptly to emergencies, providing oversight during the pool hours. Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks to maintain optimal water quality. Assist guests with pool access, provide information about facilities, and address any concerns or questions. Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, and maintaining surrounding areas. Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards and ensure smooth daily operations. Skills Proven experience in pool monitoring with current CPR certification. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and cleaning techniques. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations with first aid expertise. Physical stamina for standing, walking, and working outsdoors throughout shifts. Prior experience in pool cleaning or related roles is a plus.
