Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Lifeguard for the remainder of the summer season. We can have someone for just weekends (12-6 pm) or for the whole week (Tuesday-Sunday 12-6pm). As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development. Our pool season starts at the end of May and runs through the end of August.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
• Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
• Perform routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and testing water quality
• Provide excellent guest service by assisting with inquiries and addressing any concerns
• Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues or repairs needed
• Administer first aid and CPR as necessary
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment as required

Experience:

• Must have current Lifeguard certification
• Previous experience in lifeguarding or related roles is preferred
• Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is a plus
• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues effectively
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification
