LIFEGUARD
University of California - San Francisco 26.29 United States, California, San Francisco 1840 3rd Street (Show on map) Apr 07, 2026 The Lifeguard works under direct supervision of the Aquatics Manager and is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics unit, which include customer service, patron safety, pool maintenance, emergency procedures/evacuations, and daily safety checks of the swimming pools, and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications :
Graduation from high school or a General Education Diploma, possession of an American Red Cross Advanced Life Saving Certificate, possession of a Water Safety Instructor's Certificate, and possession of a current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate (active or obtained by start date)
