Full Job Description Description Job Overview:
The Seasonal Summer Lifeguard will oversee pool area to assure the safety of all users. Ideal candidates will have excellent skills in the water and reliable transportation. Prior experience is preferred. The community pool opens Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day weekend.Schedule:
30+ hours/week; pool is open from 11:00AM and 8:00PM Compensation:
$17-18/hr FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.Your Responsibilities:
Check guests into pool area Enforce association pool rules and regulations Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues Direct swimmers out of the pool in hazardous conditions Provide swimming lessons and safety education to new swimmers Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool Perform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidents Provide assistance to guests as neededEducation & Experience:
Current and valid Lifeguard certification First Aid and CPR certifications 1+ years' lifeguard experience preferred Flexible schedulePhysical Requirements and Working Environment:
