The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to guest services, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all pool patrons. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, responding promptly to emergencies Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical testing Assist with guest services, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed Perform heavy lifting tasks related to pool cleaning equipment and supplies Maintain accurate records of incidents, pool conditions, and maintenance activities Requirements Previous lifeguard experience preferred Current certifications in CPR and First Aid required Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures, including cleaning and chemical balancing Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment handling Must be attentive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
