The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to providing excellent guest services, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Waterfront Skills training and certification is required. Responsibilities Monitor pool/lake activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests. Enforce pool/lake rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Provide immediate assistance in emergencies, including performing first aid and CPR when necessary. Conduct regular inspections of pool/lake facilities, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance. Assist with pool/lakefront cleaning and maintenance tasks as required. Communicate effectively with guests, providing information and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Participate in ongoing training sessions to maintain certifications and improve skills. Requirements Certification in Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills, First Aid, and CPR is required. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues as needed. Experience in guest services is preferred, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for equipment handling and maintenance tasks. Must be attentive, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
