at Air Combat Command in Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, United States Job Description Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Mountain Home
AFB , ID.
This is a Flexible work schedule with no minimum guaranteed hours, but may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits. Responsibilities Continuously observes swimming area to ensure safety of patrons. Ensures the swimming area is open to patrons at scheduled times and only authorized persons are admitted to the area as well as securing the building a the close of shift. Rescues swimmers in trouble, promptly administers first aid, and calls for medical assistance if and when needed. Warns swimmers of unsafe environmental or health conditions, water hazards, and recommends closing swimming areas until safe conditions prevail. When working at pools, may operate water pumps and control chemical additives to ensure pool water meets specified standards. Ensures that all items on deck are inspected frequently and that necessary repairs are made or reported. Keep all paperwork and records up to date. May perform other related or incidental duties as assigned for the daily operation of the swimming area to include: cleaning of bath houses, wading pools, main pools, pool decks, beach areas, sunbathing areas, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.
