Part-time Lifeguard

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Seasonal Lifeguards for our HOA community. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our guests and maintaining a clean and enjoyable environment at our pool facility. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise pool area to ensure the safety of all guests
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed
• Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as checking chemical levels and cleaning filters
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify potential hazards or maintenance issues
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

• MUST be a certified Lifeguard with current First Aid and CPR certifications (or obtain prior to hire)
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Strong swimming skills, including the ability to perform rescues and provide water-based assistance
• Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pool equipment or injured individuals, if necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
• Previous experience in lifeguarding or related roles is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is a plus Pay starts at $18 per hour.

Lead Lifeguard position also available and paid at higher rate. This is a part-time, seasonal position with flexible scheduling options. Some weekend days may be required.
