CPR Full Job Description Salary Range :
$19 - $21 per hour Phillips Academy is looking for Lifeguards to support our Athletic and Community Recreation Aquatic programs. Multiple part-time positions available with flexible hours that include Monday - Friday afternoons 3:30PM - 8:00PM and varying weekend shifts when school is in session, and extended weekday and weekend hours during the summer.
Certification and Licensing Requirements:
Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, or equivalent nationally recognized certification American Red Cross First Aid / CPR / AED Certification for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalent nationally recognized certification
Qualifications and Skills:
16+ years of age with lifeguarding experience preferred. Swimming proficiency. Ability to adjust programs as necessary to ensure the safety of the visitors and other staff. Ability to judge and evaluate evolving dynamics of individuals participating in aquatic activities to immediately assess their capabilities and threats to their safety. Knowledge of on-site protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies with the ability to enforce safety objectives firmly but politely. Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services. Salary is commensurate with experience.
