The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional swimming skills, and a commitment to providing excellent guest services. As the Head Lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising lifeguard staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe pool environment. Duties Supervise and manage lifeguard staff to ensure effective monitoring of pool activities. Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for lifeguards. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all guests. Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as needed in emergency situations. Oversee pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing. Assist in guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with management to develop safety protocols and improve operational efficiency. Requirements Current Lifeguard Certification is required. Training is also available. Proficiency in swimming with strong swimming skills. Valid First Aid and CPR certifications are mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for pool maintenance tasks. Experience in guest services is preferred to enhance customer satisfaction. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
