Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lifeguard, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all pool visitors. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest services. Your proactive approach and quick response skills will help prevent accidents and respond effectively in emergencies, creating a secure space for everyone to relax and have fun. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in safety, customer service, and facility maintenance. Duties Continuously monitor the pool area to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies using CPR and first aid techniques Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and address their inquiries with a friendly attitude Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, and maintaining water clarity Support pool operations by checking and maintaining safety equipment like rescue tubes and life rings Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience or relevant training certifications such as CPR and first aid Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescue procedures confidently Knowledge of pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling preferred Ability to lift heavy objects such as pool cleaning equipment or safety gear when necessary Excellent guest service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor Physical stamina to stand, walk, or perform rescue activities for extended periods Prior experience in water safety or related roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your commitment to safety makes a real difference! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
