Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic aquatic team as a Pool Lifeguard and become a vital protector of member and guest safety at our pool. In this role, you will oversee pool activities, enforce safety protocols, and provide exceptional guest services to ensure everyone enjoys a safe and fun environment. Your vigilance, quick response skills, and friendly attitude will help create a positive experience for all visitors while maintaining the highest standards of water safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in water rescue, first aid, and customer service within a lively aquatic setting. Duties Monitor pool areas continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules Respond swiftly and effectively to water emergencies, including water rescues and medical incidents Administer first aid, CPR, AED operation, and basic life support as needed to treat injuries or medical emergencies Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality standards are met Assist with pool setup, including opening procedures, and closing routines to maintain optimal water conditions Support member services by answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring a welcoming environment Experience Prior lifeguard experience or certification from a recognized organization Experience working with children or in an aquatic facility environment is highly desirable Knowledge of water rescue response techniques and public safety procedures is essential Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and maintaining a safe aquatic environment Must be available to work August through Labor Day weekend.
