Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Job Summary Join our dynamic aquatic team as a Lifeguard or a Swim Instructor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for all pool visitors. Your energetic presence and proactive approach will help prevent accidents, provide exceptional guest services, and foster confidence in swimmers of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine safety expertise with teaching skills, making a positive impact on our community's aquatic experience. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or unsafe behavior. Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks and maintaining water quality standards. Assist with pool upkeep including cleaning pool decks, checking chemical levels, and ensuring equipment is in good working order. Provide friendly guest services by answering questions, offering guidance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Collaborate with team members to uphold safety protocols, complete incident reports, and maintain accurate records of pool activities.

Lesson Instructors:

Deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to different skill levels, encouraging progress and confidence in swimmers. Skills Lifeguard experience preferred, but not required Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow safety protocols meticulously and respond calmly under pressure.

Swim Instructors:

Experience in delivering swim instruction is highly desirable, but not required

Swim Instructors:

Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures. Certifications Red Cross Lifeguard certification, or certifiable by start date

Swim Instructor:

Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
