Job Description
The position of Pool Lifeguard is responsible to maintain a safe swimming environment for Maple Grove's Community Center pools, and swimming beaches. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Aquatic Supervisor, Coordinator, and Head Lifeguard. Lifeguards may qualify for this position by having their current certifications or for those not already certified, the City will provide the certification training at no cost to the employee. Employees who receive paid certification training are expected to work through the current season and may be required to reimburse the costs of the training if that requirement is not met.
