Job Summary Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking dedicated and reliable Lifeguards for the 2026 pool season. The ideal candidates will have a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of pool guests, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a fun and safe environment at our resort-style pool. Candidates must be responsible, proactive, and able to handle any emergency situation effectively. 11:00am to 6:30pm and 1:30pm to 8:30pm shifts available. Minimum of 20 hours up to 40 hours per week. Availability needed through end of October.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers at all times. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, administering CPR, first aid, or other lifesaving measures as needed. Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all members and guests. Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and guests with any pool-related inquiries or concerns. Work as part of a team with other lifeguards and staff to maintain high standards of safety and service. Attend mandatory training and meetings as required by the Country Club.

Qualifications:

Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent). CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to emergency situations quickly. Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Schedule & Hours:

Pool season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pool is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Flexible hours ranging from 20-40 hours per week, with varying shifts. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is preferred.
