We operate a full-service fitness facility that offer a wide range of fitness classes, childcare services, and community engagement opportunities, touching the lives of thousands each year. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Swim Lesson Instructor to join our team! In this role, you will lead engaging and safe swimming lessons for participants for ages 3+ and 18+. Your enthusiasm will inspire confidence in learners while promoting water safety, physical activity, and fun. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on our community's health and well-being. Duties Deliver structured swim lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning and confidence-building in the water Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety skills to participants Monitor participants during lessons to ensure safety and proper behavior management Communicate progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians when appropriate Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area before and after lessons Assist with special aquatic programs such as water aerobics or summer camps as needed Experience Previous lifeguard experience or certification preferred, with a strong understanding of water safety protocols Background in teaching physical education or childcare enhances your ability to connect with students of all ages Familiarity with behavior management techniques ensures a positive learning environment Ability to work effectively with students, demonstrating patience, enthusiasm, and clear communication skills Join us as a Swim Lesson Instructor and help foster a love for swimming while promoting safety and healthy living within our vibrant community!
