Lifeguard openings in the Durham County area! Lifeguards work as a team and are supported by the pool manager and assistant manager. At Pool Professionals, we are dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for all our patrons. We take pride in our commitment to safety and fun at every pool. We are seeking vigilant, responsible, and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team.
Responsibilities Monitor Swimming Areas :
Actively observe the pool to ensure swimmer safety by identifying potential hazards and taking proactive steps to prevent accidents.
Enforce Rules :
Ensure all guests are following pool rules and policies.
Rescue Operation:
Quickly responded to emergencies and administer the appropriate care and rescue techniques when necessary.
Maintain Pool:
Check pool water conditions to ensure they are safe and maintain clean bathrooms.
Customer Service:
Interact with patrons in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions, and assisting when needed.
Maintain Logs and Reports:
Keep detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and Rescues.
Qualifications Certifications :
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (Deepwater Cert preferred)
Age:
At least 15 years old
Physical Fitness :
Must be able to swim and meet physical fitness standards Strong Communication skills : Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Reliable :
Be dependable and committed to working
Team-Oriented :
Able to work collaboratively with other staff members in high-energy, fast-paced environments Join us in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests!
