Sagewell is located at 3518 Drawbridge Parkway (inside MedCenter Greensboro) Greensboro, NC 27410 and 723 S Van Buren Road Suite A-4 Eden, NC 27288. The Lifeguard promotes overall water safety for members utilizing the pool area. Working under close supervision for routine situations, this job provides a safe, sanitary pool environment to encourage use of pool for fitness, relaxation, and recreation.
Essential Job Function:
Supervises pool users utilizing the pool area during open swim, lap swim, or scheduled programs to ensure safety. Enforces pool rules to prevent injury and responds to emergency situations. Supports all daily opening and closing procedures such as chemical testing and reporting, managing pool space, and turning off all equipment. Teaches water safety principles, swimming techniques, and stroke development to improve swimmers abilities. Helps promote fitness programs and assists the aquatic department in maintaining equipment and cleanliness standards. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:
Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification, CPR/AED and First Aid Certified.
