Position Number 24LIF27 Position Type Temporary Essential Job Duties A Lifeguard is a trained and certified safety professional responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of people in and around an aquatic environment. In this role, you will ensure the safety of all users through continuous surveillance of the aquatic area. You will enforce aquatic guidelines to maintain a safe environment and be prepared to implement the Emergency Action Plan when necessary. Join our pack!
Contribute Safety and Surveillance:
Ensure the safety of users through continuous surveillance.
Facility Inspection & Maintenance:
Inspect the facility, perform preventative maintenance and report any unsafe conditions or equipment failures.
Chemical Testing:
Perform regular water chemistry tests and accurately log the readings to maintain water quality and compliance.
Event Operations:
Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment for various aquatic programs, special events and open recreation activities.
Certification and Fitness:
Maintain an up-to-date American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and preserve the required fitness level (swimming skills, strength and endurance) necessary to effectively respond to all aquatic emergencies.
Cleanliness:
