AED Certification Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Country Club of Lincoln is seeking friendly, dedicated and self-motivated lifeguards to add to our team for August and into September! Our team values creativity, positivity, consistency, and hard work. We are committed to providing a learning environment that is both engaging and challenging while also providing opportunities for growth with an eye towards next season. We also understand that you likely have other commitments outside of this job (such as school or other work opportunities) and will work with you to create a schedule that works for both of us.Pool Hours of Operations:
(Please note that these hours are not universal, and some days may require you stay longer or leave earlier depending on outside factors such as weather or holidays.) Current- Monday

- 8:00p Expect most shifts to last around 5-6 hours.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Maintains a clean pool and pool deck
- Keeps pool entry area neat and organized
- Greets members and guests at sign in desk, assists with questions, and answers phone
- Supervises and observes swimmers continuously to ensure their safety by constantly scanning lifeguard zones
- Picks up all towels not being used by members and guests in pool areas
- Helps with the organization and monitoring of pool games
- Maintains all necessary records
- Tests and adjusts pool chemicals if certified as a Pool Operator (Pool Operator License not required for employment).
- Additional duties as directed by a manager Qualifications & Skills
- Genuine willingness to learn; self-motivated and takes initiative
- Ability to function in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work outside in varying temperatures and stand for long periods of time
- Create stellar member experiences and flexible availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Effective communication skills and ability to creatively problem-solve
- Must hold a current Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be willing to work hours as assigned. This may include evenings, weekends and holidays as business demands
