Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Lifeguards to ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers at our camp facilities. As a Lifeguard, you will be the frontline guardian of water safety, actively monitoring swimming areas, enforcing rules, and responding promptly to emergencies. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on children's lives in a fun-filled setting. Duties Vigilantly monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure swimmer safety. Enforce all camp rules related to water activities, promoting a safe and respectful environment. Conduct regular safety checks of all aquatic equipment and facilities. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, administering first aid or CPR as needed. Maintain accurate records of swim activity, incidents, and safety inspections. Communicate clearly with campers, staff, and emergency responders during incidents or safety drills. Qualifications Lifeguard Certification (preferably Red Cross) Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, staff, and emergency personnel. Demonstrated ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on water safety.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
