Do you love kids, swimming, and making a difference? The Greater Morristown YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, energetic Swim Instructors who enjoy teaching and inspiring swimmers of all ages and abilities. Position Details Role :

Part-Time Swim Instructor Hours :

2-10 hours per week Weekdays and weekends available

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rate based on certifications and experience. What You'll Do Teach swimming skills and water safety techniques to individuals of all ages and abilities. Ensure a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment. Use your expertise to recognize water hazards, demonstrate lifesaving techniques, and follow safety protocols. Provide progress evaluations for students each session (approximately 10 weeks long). Stay calm, professional, and effective in emergencies. What You'll Bring Certifications (preferred but not required): American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or YMCA Swim Instructor Certification Standard First Aid and CPR/AED for the

Professional Rescuer Experience :

At least 1 year of swim instruction preferred, with a variety of ages and ability levels. Applicants who have experience with special needs are strongly encouraged to apply!

Skills :

Strong swimming ability with endurance and proficiency. Excellent communication and motivational skills to inspire confidence in your students. Knowledge of safe, effective swim lesson techniques and pool safety. Why Join Us?
