Job Summary Primm Valley Casino Resorts is seeking energetic, safety-focused individuals to join our team as Lifeguards. Applicants may begin working at age 16, provided they meet all required certification requirements and applicable state and company employment guidelines. The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests using the resort's swimming pools and aquatic facilities. This position continuously monitors pool activities, enforces safety regulations, responds to emergencies, and delivers exceptional guest service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Continuously monitor swimming pools and surrounding aquatic areas to ensure the safety of all guests. Enforce all pool rules, safety regulations, and resort policies to prevent accidents and injuries. Recognize hazardous situations and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues. Administer CPR, AED, First Aid, and other emergency care as required. Conduct routine inspections of pools, decks, safety equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool areas, including assisting with light housekeeping duties as needed. Report accidents, incidents, unsafe conditions, and equipment malfunctions promptly to management. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing the pool area for daily operations. Provide outstanding guest service by greeting guests, answering questions, and creating a positive resort experience. Participate in required training sessions, emergency drills, and staff meetings to maintain certifications and operational readiness. Assist with distributing towels, organizing pool furniture, and supporting other pool operations as assigned. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, OSHA standards, and local health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
