Lifeguard - Latham, NY VENT Fitness - 3.7 Latham, NY Job Details Part-time $16 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Lifeguard Training In-person customer service Lifeguard Certification First aid and CPR Full Job Description The Lifeguard is responsible for providing safety to the members and guests in the pools and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Maintain safety in the pools and surrounding pool areas. Provide supervision and take life saving measures when necessary for members and guests in the pool and surrounding areas. Participate in maintenance of the pool, exercise equipment and emergency equipment. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to business hours and work schedules. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and confidence in communicating with EMS. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience as a lifeguard preferred. CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire. Current Lifeguard certification from a nationally recognized organization required. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner.
