Job Description:
The SUNY Maritime College is looking for outgoing, responsible individuals to lifeguard both at the pool for rentals, camps, swim lessons, and lap swims. Job Duties and Responsibilities Help ensure a safe and fun learning environment Respond to emergencies in accordance with certification and training Perform duties as a lifeguard as needed Prepare, maintain, and properly clean and stow all equipment Perform all other duties as assigned by the
Aquatics Director Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to obtain before camp Fun-loving, team player, positive, can-do attitude Passion for and experience with working with children in a marine environment
Preferred Qualifications Water Safety Instructor Certification Additional Information:
Classification/Salary Range:
The hourly rate for the position is $17.00-$25.00 per hour commensurate with experience and certifications. Review of applications will commence immediately and conclude when positions are filled.
