About this Position
GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the university motor pool and fleet vehicles.
Required Qualifications Education :
Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.
Experience:
Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior. Three to four years' experience in a service station or motor pool operation and general knowledge about vehicles and vehicle maintenance. Certifications, Registrations, and/or
Licenses:
Licensure/Certification:
Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver's license. Must possess Class A CDL license. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively. Ability to handle multiple work priorities simultaneously and work with minimal supervision in a highly self-motivated manner. Good computer skills with emphasis using excel spreadsheets. Good mathematical skills and ability for accurate and timely reporting is essential. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must be knowledgeable in the use of power tools. Position requires that employee be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, reach, and have use of all limbs.
Communication Skills :
Must be able to read and write and follow directives. Ability to communicate effectively with a positive attitude. Excellent listening skills and customer responsiveness are essential.
