Join FitCity Spanish Fork as A Head Lifeguard! Are you a highly skilled and experienced lifeguard ready to take on a leadership role and ensure the safety of our community's aquatic enthusiasts? Spanish Fork City is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Head Lifeguard to oversee the daily operations and emergency response in the pool areas of our FitCity Center. This is more than just a lifeguarding position; it's an exceptional opportunity to lead by example, mentor fellow lifeguards, and act as a primary responder in any emergency situation within our recreation facility. You'll play a critical role in preventing drownings and other injuries, directly contributing to a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all our patrons and staff. About the
Position:
As our Head Lifeguard, you'll operate under the general guidance of the Aquatics Supervisor, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.Your key responsibilities will include:
SafetyEmergency Response Ensuring life safety for all patrons within the aquatic area. Supervising first aid and emergency care, providing immediate and effective care when needed. Serving as a primary first responder to prevent drowning and other injuries inside the recreation facility. Recognizing and responding quickly and effectively to emergencies. Completing safety checks, continuously monitoring assigned areas, and actively eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors. SupervisionOperations Taking the lead in any emergency situation, demonstrating calm and decisive action. Being responsible for the supervision of aquatics facilities and staff during your scheduled shift. (4:30am- 9:15am, 9:00am
- 2:00pm, 1:45pm

- 10:30pm) Monitoring and enforcing all safety rules, policies, and procedures with professionalism.
