Private swim lessons The Simon Family JCC is looking for an energetic, organized, and passionate Swim Coordinator to lead our growing swim lesson program while helping ensure a safe, welcoming aquatics environment for members of all ages.

This is a hands-on position that combines swim instruction, program coordination, lifeguarding, and leadership. If you love teaching people to swim, enjoy building programs, and want to make a difference in your community, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Coordinate and grow our private and group swim lesson programs. Teach private and group swim lessons for children and adults. Recruit, schedule, and support swim instructors. Serve as a primary lifeguard for our indoor and outdoor pools. Assist with lifeguard training, in-service, certification, and recertification. Coordinate swim instruction for Camp JCC during the summer. Create monthly aquatics schedules and calendars. Support the Athletics Director with aquatics programming and special events. Serve as Head Coach for the Swordfish Swim Team if a team is formed. We're Looking For Someone Who Has At least 2 years of swim instruction experience Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification WSI and/or LGI certification preferred Strong knowledge of all four competitive swim strokes Excellent communication and organizational skills The ability to teach swimmers of all ages and abilities A positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude Swim team experience as an athlete or coach is a plus How to
