Weekend Lifeguard & Deck Lead

Locations:

Covington, WA (Saturdays) & Auburn, WA (Sundays/Mondays) About the Role Are you a "people person" who takes safety seriously? We are looking for a reliable Weekend Anchor to join our team. This is a role perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with the community while maintaining a safe environment. You won't just be sitting in a chair; you'll be the "Face of the Deck"—managing guest check-ins, answering questions, and ensuring 100% water safety. Saturdays:

8:30 AM•1:15 PM ( Covington )

Sundays:

1:30 PM•6:15 PM ( Auburn )

Mondays:

3:15 PM•7:00 PM ( Auburn )

Note:

Auburn location follows most holiday closures; additional subbing hours are often available at our Covington site (operating 4 days/week) to make up for holiday gaps.

Key Responsibilities Safety First:

Maintain active surveillance of the pool area; prevent and respond to emergencies.

Customer Service:

Greet guests, answer facility questions, and provide a welcoming atmosphere.

Deck Management:

Assist with opening/closing duties and ensure the pool deck remains organized and professional.

Communication:

Clearly and politely enforce facility rules with both children and adults.

Requirements Age:

Must be 16 years or older .

Certification:

Must hold a current Lifeguard Certification (including First Aid and CPR/AED).

Reliability:

Must have dependable transportation to commute to the Covington and Auburn locations.

Maturity:

Ability to work independently and take ownership of the deck during your shift. Why Join Us?
