In this energetic role, you will oversee pool safety, assist guests with their needs, and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors during peak seasons, promoting health, safety, and fun for everyone who visits. Duties Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations using certified first aid and CPR skills Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality standards are met Perform routine pool cleaning and sanitation to maintain a hygienic environment for guests Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and deliver excellent guest services Help with pool area setup and breakdown for daily operations or special events American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid Skills Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and first aid training Proven swimming ability with comfort in water environments Experience in lifeguarding or pool supervision preferred Knowledge of basic pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and water quality standards Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks involved in pool upkeep Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards This role is paid and ideal for motivated individuals eager to ensure a safe, fun-filled experience for all visitors.
