  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Housekeeper to join our team, committed to providing exceptional support and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being while ensuring the household runs smoothly. Your energy, attention to detail, and genuine care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings according to care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper food safety and hygiene standards are maintained Perform thorough cleaning duties to uphold a hygienic and comfortable living environment, including laundry and general housekeeping tasks Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and care plan instructions, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication management Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized routines and engaging activities Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, resident progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, or nursing assistant certification are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments enhances your effectiveness in this role Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts when necessary Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting residents' social and emotional needs Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and person-centered care Join us in creating a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
