Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and address any special requests. Maintain organized cleaning schedules and manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks promptly. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Ability to perform outdoor work as needed for exterior space upkeep or outdoor cleaning tasks. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities for client interaction. Experience with residential housekeeping or hospitality environments is a plus.
