Job Summary The Cook & Housekeeper is an on-site role responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-managed work site. This dual-role position requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities Meal Preparation & Kitchen Management Plan and prepare daily meals based onsite employees. Additionally, meals are prepared for employees attending training, as well as for special functions. Develop weekly menus to ensure balanced nutrition. Shop for groceries and maintain appropriate food inventory levels. Store food safely and monitor freshness to minimize waste. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation of utensils and equipment. Follow all food safety guidelines and hygiene standards. Accommodate special dietary requirements. Housekeeping & Household Management Clean and sanitize all living areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas. Perfoort maintenance issues or safety concerns. Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy. Follow schedules and routines. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and discretion. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in cooking and housekeeping Knowledge of food safety and cleaning practices Strong organizational and multitasking skills Trustworthy and dependable Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 25-40 pounds Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching Compensation and Benefits PTO 401(k) match Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
