In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items. Ensure floors are well-maintained through proper floor care techniques like buffing and carpet cleaning to enhance appearance and safety. Follow strict sanitation protocols when cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff. Collaborate with team members to manage custodial tasks effectively while providing excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial work, residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing. Familiarity with sanitation procedures relevant to hospitality or healthcare environments. Experience with laundry operations and handling linens efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Previous hotel or custodial experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
