Job Description
You don't need professional cleaning experience to start building a skill you can grow with. At PuraMaid, we can teach cleaning methods, systems, and standards. What we're looking for first are the things that are much harder to teach: dependability, attention to detail, a good attitude, coachability, and pride in doing your work well. If you show up, care about the quality of what you do, and are willing to learn, we're willing to teach you. PuraMaid is hiring entry-level residential cleaners for our growing Dothan team.
STARTING PAY & POSITION
PuraMaid Trainee — $14/hour This is a W-2 employee position with weekly pay. The position is part-time initially , and hours will depend on customer demand as our Dothan market develops. We would rather be upfront about that from the beginning than promise hours we cannot honestly guarantee.WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Paid training in the PuraMaid cleaning system Weekly pay W-2 employment Mileage reimbursement according to company policy A clear path to higher skill and pay levels The opportunity to qualify for Lead/Trainer responsibilities as you develop A chance to join an early team and grow as PuraMaid grows Most importantly, Trainee is a starting point—not a permanent label.YOU DON'T HAVE TO ALREADY KNOW HOW TO DO EVERYTHING
That's what training is for. You'll learn how to professionally clean: Kitchens Bathrooms Bedrooms Living areas Floors and common household surfaces Fixtures and detailed areas that are easy to overlook You'll also learn how to: Work efficiently without sacrificing quality Follow a professional cleaning system Use job instructions and checklists Work carefully around customers' belongings Recognize when something needs extra attention Communicate professionally Ask for help when you're unsure Take responsibility for the quality of your work We don't expect perfection on your first day. We do expect effort, honesty, and a willingness to improve.WHAT THE JOB IS REALLY LIKE
Residential cleaning is active, physical work. You'll spend much of your workday standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving through customers' homes. Some homes will be easier than others. Some jobs will require patience. Sometimes you'll need to go back over something because it isn't quite right yet. And you'll be expected to keep learning how to become both thorough and efficient. But there's something many people enjoy about this kind of work: You can see what you accomplished. You walk into a space that needs attention and leave it noticeably better than you found it. For the customer, that can mean walking through the door after a long day and feeling like a weight has been lifted. Your work can give someone a cleaner home, a little more time, and one less thing to worry about.WHO TENDS TO DO WELL HERE
You may be a strong fit if you: Show up when you say you will Notice details other people sometimes miss Like staying active rather than sitting behind a desk Can follow instructions Accept feedback without becoming defensive Are willing to ask questions when you don't know something Treat other people's belongings with care Take responsibility instead of making excuses Can work independently once you've been trained Enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a job completed well You do not need previous professional house-cleaning experience. You do not need the perfect résumé. You do not need to already know the PuraMaid system. You do need to be dependable, teachable, and willing to work.THERE'S SOMEWHERE TO GO FROM HERE
At PuraMaid, we want people to know what the next step looks like. Our skill progression is:
Trainee → Cleaner I → Cleaner II → Senior → Elite Advancement is based on demonstrated competency and performance , not simply how long you've been employed. As your skills develop, you can qualify for higher levels with greater responsibility. Leadership is a separate opportunity as well. Team members who demonstrate the right combination of skill, reliability, judgment, and communication may eventually qualify for additional Lead/Trainer responsibilities. That means your first position does not have to be your last position.WE'RE LOOKING FOR POTENTIAL, NOT JUST EXPERIENCE
Maybe you've worked in retail. Maybe you've worked in restaurants. Maybe you've taken care of a household or helped other people with theirs. Maybe you're looking for your first real opportunity to develop a professional skill. Or maybe you're simply ready for something different. We're less interested in where you've been than in how you approach the opportunity in front of you. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and proud of doing a job correctly, we want to hear from you.OUR HIRING PROCESS
We take hiring seriously because PuraMaid team members work inside customers' homes. Qualified applicants will move through a structured selection process that may include an assessment, interview, reference and background review, and paid field validation before final placement. You don't need to convince us that you already know everything. Show us that you're someone worth teaching. If you're ready to learn a professional skill, take pride in your work, and earn your way forward, we'd like to meet you.Pay:
