Job Description
You already know the difference between a home that has been cleaned and a home that feels truly cared for. If you take pride in that difference — and you would like your skill to lead somewhere — this may be the opportunity for you. PuraMaid is looking for an experienced house cleaner to join our Dothan launch team as a working Lead/Trainer. This is not a desk job or a management position. You will still be doing the work you know: cleaning homes, taking care of details and creating the kind of finished result you can be proud to leave behind. The difference is that your experience can mean more here.
WHAT THIS OPPORTUNITY CAN OFFER YOU
You will have a defined place in the PuraMaid skill system instead of simply being called "a cleaner." Experienced hires may enter as from $15-$17 per hour. Your placement is based on demonstrated ability, not just how many years you have been cleaning. If you are selected for Lead/Trainer responsibilities, you will earn an additional $1 per hour while performing assigned lead or training duties. Lead cleaner is not a separate pay grade at PuraMaid. It is an opportunity to take on additional responsibility, help other cleaners succeed and demonstrate leadership while continuing to advance in your own professional skill level. You will also receive:
W-2 employment Weekly pay Paid training in the PuraMaid system Mileage reimbursement according to company policy A defined path for skill and pay advancement The opportunity to develop Lead/Trainer experience The opportunity to join an early team and grow as the Dothan market grows This position is part-time initially, and hours will depend on customer demand as the market develops.WHAT THE WORK IS REALLY LIKE
Professional residential cleaning is physical work . You will be on your feet, bending, reaching, lifting normal cleaning equipment and moving through different homes throughout the workday. Some homes will be easier than others. Some days will move quickly. Occasionally, you will find something that requires patience, judgment or extra attention. But there is also something satisfying about this work: you get to see what you accomplished. You walk into a home that needs attention and leave behind something visibly better. For many customers, that means more than a clean countertop. It means coming home to a space that feels calmer, lighter and cared for. If you enjoy doing work with a visible result, this can be an incredibly rewarding kind of job.WHAT BEING A PURAMAID LEAD MEANS
We are not looking for someone who simply wants to be "the boss." We are looking for someone other people can learn from. As a Launch Lead/Trainer, you may help a newer cleaner understand a technique, demonstrate how a PuraMaid standard should look, help keep a job organized, recognize when something has been missed and model the professionalism we expect in a customer's home. You should be able to give direction without talking down to people. You should also be comfortable receiving feedback yourself. Experience matters here — but having experience does not mean we expect you to arrive knowing the PuraMaid way of doing everything. We will train you in our standards and systems just as we train the rest of the team. The best Lead will be someone who can say both: "I know how to do this." and "I'm still willing to learn."WHO TENDS TO DO WELL HERE
You may be a strong fit if you are already comfortable cleaning residential kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas; notice details without needing someone to point out every one of them; care about both quality and efficiency; show up when you say you will; communicate well with different kinds of people; take responsibility when something goes wrong; and treat another person's home and belongings with respect. You do not need previous management experience. You do need meaningful cleaning experience, good judgment and the ability to set an example through your own work.WHERE THIS CAN GO
PuraMaid is designed around progression. As your demonstrated skill increases, there are additional PuraMaid skill levels beyond them. Leadership is a separate path as well. Someone can become a stronger technical cleaner, take on Lead/Trainer responsibilities, or develop in both directions. We want good people to be able to see what the next step looks like — and what they need to demonstrate to earn it. If you have spent time becoming good at residential cleaning and would like to work somewhere that recognizes that ability, develops it and gives you the opportunity to help set the standard for a growing team, we would like to hear from you.OUR HIRING PROCESS
We take hiring seriously because the people entering our customers' homes matter. Qualified applicants will move through a structured selection process that may include an assessment, interview, reference and background review, and a paid field validation before final placement. We are not looking for the person with the fanciest résumé. We are looking for someone we can trust to do excellent work, treat people well and help make the people around them better. If that sounds like you, apply. We would like to meet you.Pay:
