Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary Looking for a reliable and detail oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. Duties include making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, replenishing amenities, and reporting maintenance issues. Candidates should be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and provide excellent service while maintaining hotel cleanliness standards. Duties Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards Make beds and change linens Clean and sanitize bathrooms Dust furniture, fixtures, and room surfaces Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors Replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns Clean hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other public areas as assigned Ensure rooms are guest ready and meet quality standards Follow all safety, security, and sanitation procedures Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply closets Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed Work efficiently to meet daily room assignment goals Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk staff

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-50 pounds Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Experience:

Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. A positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail are more important than prior experience. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Customer service experience is a plus.

Pay:

From $13.00 per hour
