Job Description
The Catering Houseperson is responsible for ensuring banquet and event spaces are properly prepared, maintained, and restored before, during, and after functions. This position works closely with the Catering and Banquet teams to ensure every event is executed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Read and accurately interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and prepare function rooms according to event specifications. Maintain thorough knowledge of all function rooms, meeting spaces, service areas, equipment, and standard event setups. Set up, service, and break down banquet and catering functions efficiently and according to established standards. Safely handle, transport, clean, and properly store banquet equipment, furniture, and supplies. Inspect function spaces before and after events to ensure they are clean, organized, properly equipped, and guest ready.
