HOUSEKEEPING TEAM MEMBER
Hot Springs Off-Road Park
  • Hot Springs, Arkansas Part-time, Full-time, Seasonal, or Workamper | Hourly
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Housekeeping Team Member at Hot Springs Off-Road Park, you help create the clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that allows guests to relax, reconnect, and enjoy their time outdoors. Our mission is to help people Escape the Everyday through unforgettable outdoor family experiences, and clean, well-maintained facilities are an important part of delivering that mission. This role involves cleaning and stocking lodgings, restrooms, common areas, and other Park facilities while ensuring every space is clean, safe, organized, and ready for guests. You'll work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other departments to keep the Park clean, organized, and guest-ready every day. This is a physically active position that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence. Successful team members take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and understand that cleanliness, organization, and consistency are essential to the Park's success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIESLodging & Facility Cleaning Clean lodgings, restrooms, shower houses, pavilion areas, and other Park facilities Sweep, mop, dust, scrub, sanitize, and perform other cleaning duties as assigned Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry Ensure facilities remain clean, stocked, organized, and ready throughout the day Report maintenance issues, damages, or concerns promptly Inventory & Facility Readiness Stock and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and facility amenities Maintain daily awareness of restroom and shower house conditions Report and return lost-and-found items according to Park procedures Communication & Team Support Complete and document assigned daily, weekly, and turnover checklists accurately, thoroughly, and on time Promptly notify the Housekeeping Supervisor of issues requiring additional attention or follow-up Report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards promptly Remain available during scheduled shifts via Park radio, phone, or messaging systems Use Trello, Campspot, On-the-Clock, WhatsApp, and other Park systems (training provided) Practice clear and respectful communication with supervisors and teammates Safety & Team Support Follow all Park cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Utilize cleaning practices that protect team members, facilities, and the environment Assist other departments when needed Bring ideas for improving housekeeping processes or Park operations Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly regarding schedule conflicts or delays Follow established housekeeping systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required; training provided High school diploma or equivalent preferred Mature high school students may be considered Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout a shift Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak Park seasons as scheduled Familiarity with Norwex products, natural cleaning supplies, and cleaning methods that protect people, property, and the environment is preferred
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Valid Driver's License preferred May be waived for mature high school students depending on assigned responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Exposure to cleaning products, temperature changes, and moderate to high activity levels Moderate noise levels throughout the workday Frequent movement between lodgings, bathhouses, common areas, and other Park facilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, and climbing Ability to remain active for most of the workday Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Love working hard, staying active, and taking pride in a job well done?
