Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing laundry tasks, and providing a welcoming environment for residents or guests. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a pristine, safe, and inviting atmosphere that exceeds expectations every day. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of living or working areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain a spotless environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency. Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve the quality of carpets, tiles, hardwoods, or other surfaces. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents' or guests' requests and addressing any concerns professionally. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing to ensure continuous service. Follow established cleaning protocols for residential or commercial spaces while adhering to safety guidelines and sanitation procedures. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential settings or commercial environments such as hotels or offices is highly desirable. Experience with residential cleaning techniques including dusting, vacuuming, window washing, and surface sanitation. Knowledge of floor care methods for various surfaces including carpet cleaning and hardwood maintenance. Familiarity with laundry operations—washing, drying, folding—and handling delicate fabrics with care. Background in hotel housekeeping management or similar hospitality roles is a plus. Hands-on experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and carpet extractors enhances your effectiveness. Strong customer service skills combined with attention to detail ensure a positive experience for all residents or guests.
