Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards. Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Perform manual handling tasks such as making beds, moving furniture, and restocking supplies with proper ergonomic techniques. Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance. Manage hotel housekeeping operations efficiently by coordinating with management to prioritize tasks and maintain cleanliness schedules. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs while maintaining professionalism. Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during incidents or evacuations. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred. Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety protocols related to cleaning supplies. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous. Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable.
