In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and industrial cleaning to maintain high sanitation levels. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, and other janitorial tools. Follow safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and hotel emergency procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards of hygiene and appearance. Document completed tasks accurately in logs or reports and communicate any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial experience within hospitality settings. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively across various surfaces. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members. Demonstrated reliability with attention to detail in industrial cleaning environments and janitorial tasks.
