$200-$250 per overnight stay (based on experience and travel distance) Position Overview We are seeking a responsible, trustworthy, and dependable Overnight Household Supervisor to stay overnight at a private residence when the homeowners are traveling. The role primarily involves providing a responsible adult presence while two teenagers (ages 18 and 16) are home. This is a low-maintenance role intended to ensure the household remains safe and supervised overnight. Sleep is permitted, and a designated bedroom will be provided during each stay. This position is ideal for someone mature, reliable, and comfortable in a private home environment with a flexible schedule. Expected Schedule Approximately 2-4 trips per month Each trip typically 2-4 nights in duration Standard overnight presence: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Some holidays may be required Travel schedules may occasionally be provided with short notice (about one week) Key Responsibilities Stay overnight at the residence during scheduled travel periods Provide a responsible adult presence in the home Ensure general safety and security of the home overnight Be available to respond in case of emergency Communicate with the homeowners if any issues arise Respect household privacy and maintain professionalism Household Environment Two teenagers reside in the home (ages 18 and 16) A small dog is present in the home Sleep is permitted during overnight shifts A private bedroom will be provided for overnight stays Food and grocery arrangements are handled by the family No cleaning or household chores required (professional housekeeping service maintained) Requirements Must be 25 years of age or older Previous experience with childcare, household supervision, or similar roles preferred Reliable transportation Strong references required Ability to pass a thorough vetting and background check Must be trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable in a private residence setting Flexible availability to accommodate occasional short-notice scheduling Compensation $200-$250 per overnight stay Pay will be determined based on: Experience Reliability and references Travel distance to the residence Overall qualifications Important Notice For safety and security purposes, security cameras with audio recording are installed throughout the exterior and interior of the property and may be actively monitored during overnight stays.
