Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residential or hospitality settings, ensuring that every space is spotless, sanitized, and well-organized. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to a positive experience for everyone who enters the premises. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hospitality spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and performing specialized treatments as needed Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas regularly Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio cleaning or yard tidying when required Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during cleaning tasks Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing Follow established procedures for janitorial and custodial work to uphold health and safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial services or related fields Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting and outdoor work Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents or guests Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts Experience with laundry operations and custodial responsibilities preferred Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus Prior housekeeping management or supervisory experience is advantageous but not required Join us in creating pristine environments where comfort meets excellence!
