Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Duties Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment Ensure all surfaces are dusted, polished, and free of debris Handle trash removal and waste disposal efficiently Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Maintain the cleanliness of storage closets and supply carts for efficient operations Assist with deep cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing or upholstery cleaning as needed Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction and hard surface polishing is advantageous Experience with hospitality operations or housekeeping management is a plus Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in commercial settings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent time management skills are essential for success in this role
