Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Hotel Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure our guests enjoy pristine, well-maintained accommodations by performing cleaning duties efficiently and maintaining high standards of sanitation. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional guest experience at our hotel. Duties Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle chemical agents safely, following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling and sanitation Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, change linens, and restock supplies to ensure rooms meet cleanliness standards Use janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and cleaning carts effectively for various cleaning tasks Assist with heavy lifting when moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns Maintain cleanliness logs and report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning setting is preferred Familiarity with floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and chemical handling safety protocols Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Join us in creating a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and cared for!
